- Net ETH inflows had their highest weekly transfer in May with around 30k ETH flowing in through the native Ethereum-Optimism bridge. The Hop Protocol bridge is also being used heavily in 2022. Overall, more ETH is flowing into Optimism than leaving.
- Comparing the number of Uniswap v3 swaps, the lower gas fees clearly lead to a higher amount of transactions being done on Optimism. The number of users lag behind Ethereum, but for the week of 7/11, there were more weekly active users on Optimism Uniswap v3 than Ethereum.
- Looking at the total number of weekly transactions and users on the network, Optimism still lags mainnet activity quite substantially. Optimism is barely pushing 1m weekly transactions while Ethereum is doing as much as 8m weekly transactions.
